Havana, Jan. 6.- The Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (CIGB) and the Company of the Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical Industry (BIOCEN), were approved as the first two Cuban High Technology Companies.
This was announced in his official profile on Twitter by Armando Rodríguez Batista, vice minister of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment (CITMA), who also reported that by agreement of the Council of Ministers on December 24, this category was granted, in force by three years.
