Camagüey, Jan 12.- Cuban Deputy Prime Minister Inés María Chapman checked in Camagüey the hydraulic development program, the implementation of the Life Task and the matters related to the Provincial Directorate of Physical Planning, sectors in which she called to work with agility and quality to comply with the policies outlined by the country.
In meetings with the top managers of these areas, and authorities of the territory, she urged to work in an integrated manner, to achieve success in the processes.
Inés María Chapman reflected on the interrelation between the three sectors, since what is done in the hydraulic sphere depends, for example, on territorial and urban planning, which is necessary to properly use resources, build infrastructure, sustain it and thus avoid pollute the environment, she added.
“That is what the President of the Republic of Cuba calls with emphasis, to work with three fundamental pillars: timely information, computerization, and science, in order to respond to the Economic and Social Development Plan until 2030 ".
She urged to guarantee a growing access of the population to drinking water from the investments that are made, and indicated applying science and innovation in solving problems. In this regard, she acknowledged that the province is experiencing a positive transformation, but it is necessary to continue moving forward.
