Camagüey reported nine cases
Havana, Jan 27.- At the close of yesterday, January 26, 10,154 patients were admitted for clinical epidemiological surveillance, 3,339 suspects, 1,0951 under surveillance and 4,864 confirmed cases.
For Covid-19, 14,527 samples were studied, resulting in 825 positive samples. The country accumulates one million 823 thousand 454 samples made and 23 thousand 439 positive.
Of the total cases (825): 733 were contacts of confirmed cases; 24 with a source of infection abroad; and 68 without a specified source of infection. Of the 825 cases diagnosed, 430 were female and 395 male.
43% (351) of the 825 positive cases were asymptomatic, accumulating a total of 13,440, which represents 57.4% of those confirmed to date.
Of the total cases of the day, 35 (4.2%) are linked to international travelers. The 825 diagnosed cases belong to the age groups: under 20 years: 89; from 20 to 39 years: 286; from 40 to 59 years: 290; and more than 60: 160 cases.
