Havana, Jan 27 - On the occasion of the XIII Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam (PCV), which is in session until February 2 in the Asian nation, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba sent a message to the Central Committee of the PCV, in which he congratulates its members and wishes them success in holding the conclave.
The letter declares the conviction that "its agreements and resolutions will contribute to consolidate the construction of a developed socialist society", and endorses, as a teaching of Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz, the high recognition that in the largest of the Antilles has been always granted to the leadership of the PCV, "which has known how to lead that heroic sister nation, with wisdom and firmness, facing great challenges and obstacles, along the paths of victory."
As a memorable symbol of the closeness between the two countries, the letter recalls the historic meeting between Army General Raúl Castro Ruz and President Ho Chi Minh, “whose fraternal embrace consolidated the special feeling that unites us and that has been transmitted to the new generations ”. The unique moment will mark the 55th anniversary this year, and Cuba will celebrate it, the greeting details.
The PCC ratified its gratitude to the PCV for its faithful and unwavering support, “particularly in the fight against the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States government against Cuba and the commitment to continue consolidating exemplary relations of friendship, cooperation and brotherhood”.
