Camagüey, Jan 27.- Five researches from Camagüey aspire this year to the Awards of the Cuban Academy of Sciences, an award with which that institution recognizes and encourages scientific work in the country at the same time.
It is valid to highlight that these studies were selected for their quality and impact from among the 17 that obtained the Provincial Prize of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment (CITMA) 2020, in Camagüey.
This is the case of Contribution to the study of porcine colibacillosis, Interprofessional education in the treatment of disabilities, and The theoretical and practical contribution to the professional scientific training of university students and teachers.
The historical-cultural investigations of the General Cemetery of Camagüey and the methodological procedure for the evaluation of the brown rust disease of sugar cane in the Cuban improvement program also make up the file, with a predominance of researchers from the University of Camagüey Ignacio Agramonte Loynaz.
The Awards of the Academy of Sciences of Cuba also seek to make this branch visible as part of the national and universal heritage, and its contribution to the socio-economic development of the country.
