Camagüey: Winds of Transformation Blow Before School Year Kicks Off

Schoolchildren and young people from Camagüey have started to visit their schools, with the aim of offering any help in the face of the beginning of 2011-2012 school year in which nearly 135,000 students will be involved.



It is essential to guarantee the student's materials and basic aids, the teachers for these centers, along with improving the methodological preparation, the assessment system and the ways to convey the content to students at different levels.

Another goal is to ensure that secondary school and pre-university graduates can continue their studies on courses which meet the economic necessities of the province.

Before the school year kicks off, teachers have been looking at the details satisfied that pencils, sheets and notebooks end up in the hands of the students who have registered in more than 720 education centers.

Camagüey is getting ready to kick off a new school year. By these days of August winds of transformation in each school blow to conjugate determination and optimism in an effort to make of the Cuba people a more cultivated and well-educated nation.
