According to sources of the Cuban Athletics Commission, the Caribbean nation’s team for Istanbul is completed by triple jumpers Yargelis Savigne, Mabel Gay, Alexis Copello and David Giralt; sprint hurdler Orlando Ortega; pole vault specialists Lazaro Borges and Yarisley Silva; heptathlete Yordanis García; and shot putters Misleydis Gonzalez and Carlos Veliz.
