Havana, Cuba, Sep 30.- A group of 34 US congresspersons, headed by Republican congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, asked the Spanish Repsol YPF Oil Company to cancel its plans for oil prospecting in Cuban waters, threatening that the company could face commercial and legal risks in the United States.

The U.S. economic blockade on Cuba has caused a very negative impact in critical sectors of the island’s economy and particularly in the public health system.
Havana, Cuba, Sep 14.- Cuba demanded on Wednesday the lifting of the US blockade and requested support from the international community to the draft resolution on the issue that will be subject to vote at the UN in October.
