    When Cuban Hero René González urged his worthy countrymen to wear yellow ribbons on September 12th to demand freedom for the Cuban Five –currently imprisoned in U.S. jails-; foreign news agencies immediately coined this initiative as a call made by the Communist government, as they usually deem anything coming from the island nation, which isn’t promoted by mercenaries at the service of U.S. interests.

    Camagüey, April 30.- A giant number 5 formed by thousands of people will be displayed on Ignacio Agramonte Revolution Square on Tuesday as part of May Day celebrations in Camagüey. The idea was proposed by Manuel Martínez Pérez, who works for portal Radio Cubana as a web developer and graphic designer.
