Havana, Cuba, Apr 16 “The Cuban and Venezuelan peoples share the honor of having defeated the U.S. Imperialism,” said Venezuela’s Vice President Elias Jaua during a ceremony on Friday in Caracas to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the declaration of the Socialist nature of the Cuban Revolution and of the victory against the U.S.-backed mercenary invasion of Bay of Pigs.
Happiness and sadness are feelings that Cubans mention when referring to the defeat of the mercenary aggression plotted and funded by the United States 50 years ago.
