Havana, Cuba, Jan 28.- Twenty eight documents that will be submitted to the heads of state and government at the 2nd Summit of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) were approved on Monday during the meeting of foreign ministers that precedes the regional forum.
Havana, Cuba, Dec 20.- The Cuban Parliament began today its plenary meeting of the second ordinary period of sessions of the 7th Legislature with a minute's silence in honor to South African leader Nelson Mandela, who died on Dec. 5 and described as a prophet of unity, national reconciliation, and peace.
Havana, Cuba, Dec 16.- Cuba paid final tribute to Nelson Mandela though a mililtary honors ceremony held at the San Carlos de la Cabaña Fortress, overlooking Havana Bay.
Pretoria, Dec 14.- Late Nelson Mandela was bid a last farewell by militants of the African National Congreso and relatives at the Waterkloof Air Base in this capital.
Pretoria, Dec 12.- Cuban President Raul Castro paid tribute today here to the late South African leader Nelson Mandela, at his coffin exposed at the Union Buildings executive headquarters.
Havana, Cuba, Dec 12.- South African President Jacob Zuma met in his residence, in Pretoria with Cuban Head of State Raul Castro and thanked Cuba's support during the current mourning of his people of his nation following the passing last week of Nelson Mandela.
Tehran, Dec 11.- Cuban ambassador to Iran, Vladimir Gonzalez, talked of the intimate friendship between Nelson Mandela and the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro, during a ceremony held today in honor of the South African leader.

The Cuban people have lost two great friends in 2013. The passing away of Venezuela’s President Hugo Chavez brought us a deep sorrow in March, while another giant of humanity Nelson Mandela died this month.
Havana, Cuba, Dec 10.- South African ambassador to Cuba Naphtal Manana said in Havana that Mandela’s friendship towards Cuba and its leaders will deepen bilateral relations between both nations.
