Cuban President congratulates the Central Institute of Pedagogical Sciences on its 45th anniversary


Havana, Nov 30 - Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, President of the Republic of Cuba, today congratulated the Central Institute of Pedagogical Sciences (ICCP), which is 45 years old.

Through a post on Twitter, the Cuban president highlighted that this anniversary of the ICCP comes in the midst of urgent tasks such as returning to the classroom after the pandemic or the improvement of pedagogical training.

It is not by chance that they have been deserving of the Labor Prowess flag, said the Cuban Head of State.

The website of the Ministry of Education (Mined) highlights that the ICCP has the mission of proposing, directing and executing research projects aimed at the continuous improvement and transformation of the National Education System and the elevation of its quality.

In addition, it contributes to the scientific and academic training of Cuban executives and teachers and those of other nationalities.

They add that the work of the institution has made it possible to strengthen the scientific potential from the work developed in the identification of problems, design of ways for their solution, systematization of solid theoretical platforms, diagnostic studies and characterizations of the educational reality, conception and validation of scientific solutions and their introduction into practice, accompanied by the dissemination of these results through publications and scientific events.
