Cuban youths in China pay tribute to the work of Cuban scientists

Beijing, Dec 4 – Cuban children and adolescents paid tribute today from China scientists on the island and especially honored for their work in record time obtain own vaccines that protect COVID-19.

With poetry, experiments and interactive games, the little ones celebrated the training, achievements and prestige attained by these professionals, even to levels compared to those of their colleagues in wealthy nations.

They exchanged with representatives of the sector to learn details of the processes of research, development, elaboration and results of vaccines against COVID-19 such as Abdala and Soberana 01, created thanks to advances in Cuban biotechnology.

The officials explained that Cuba is recognized as a scientific power in the world for creating effective products and equipment in the improvement of human health and also in areas such as agriculture, veterinary medicine and the environment.
