Havana, Mar 31.- The Ukrainian boxing team, Ukraine Otamans, arrived in the Cuban capital with their reserve team, for a match against the Domadores of Cuba, as part of the 2016 Boxing World Series.
Dmytro Gaistruk, manager of the Ukrainian team, said that he is confident that his fighters will recover today first place in Group A. The current leaders are the Cubans, who lead Group A by one point.
Leonid Loyivsky, boxing coach for the Ukrainian team, said they have arrived in Havana with their reserve team, because the main fighters are training for the Pre-Olympics which take place in the middle of April, in Turkey.
"We have come with a young team to face the best fighters in the world, but our aim is to have good fights and show our ability," he said.
Cuba has fielded its best boxers, led by the current world champions Johanys Argilagos (49kg) and Arlen Lopez (75kg), in addition to the Olympic Champion, Robeisy Ramírez (56kg).
The other two boxers of the Cuban team are the World Championship silver medalist Yasniel Toledo (64kg) and Erislandy Savón (91kg).(Prensa Latina)
