Havana, Oct 3. -Tropical Storm Leslie, which gained in organization and intensity over central Atlantic waters, today became a category one hurricane, reported the Forecast Center of the Cuban Meteorology Institute (INSMET).
The system has maximum sustained winds of 120 kilometers per hour, with higher gusts and its central pressure descends to 980 hectoPascal, points out the last bulletin of the INSMET.
The center of the meteorological phenomenon was located in the 29.6 degrees of north latitude and the 56.9 degrees of west longitude at six in the morning, position that places it to about 810 kilometers to the east southeast of Bermuda, North Atlantic, adds the report.
