Camagüey, Sep 21.- Freddys Núñez Estenoz is loved by many people. That is why it is not surprising that in a meeting between friends, co-workers and lovers of theatre, thanks giving is heard from the audience or the flattering words of an art instructor who knows the playwright's concern for good work since childhood.
This is how the most recent session of "Voces del Gentío" passed, a space that discovers, from the Ateneo Viet Nam Cultural Complex, one of the passions that inhabits Camagüey people of dissimilar professions: literature.
Alejandro González Bermúdez, host of the project, built another stage for Freddys, the director of Teatro del Viento, who now, between the chords of a guitar, shared his poems and stories for the first time.
With the lyrics that he carries in his soul and the precise text, Núñez Estenoz thanked those teachers who brought him closer to the work of José Martí and Nicolás Guillén.
"The poems I write, the most important for me, 'he said, are based on specific personal circumstances or that will happen to my friends and my way of saying: I am here."
I believe that poetry is a fan for the soul, asserted the renowned Núñez Estenoz, who finds in the verse a provocation for the spirit; just as we in his reading find the opportunity to appropriate the idea that everywhere there is a work to applaud.
Because wherever Freddys is, whether on the stage or in Voces del Gentío, there is poetry. ( Yusarys Benito Delian / Radio Cadena Agramonte ) (Photo: Profile Fb Alejandro Gonzalez.)
