The event in its fourth edition is dedicated to acting on the radio, the testimony genre and humorous programs. It also celebrates the 35th anniversaries of the AHS and the 60th of the Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba (UNEAC).
Representations from seven provinces of the country honor the sample of 129 works in competition, of very good quality and with the theme of the impact of COVID-19 as a recurring topic.
“We evaluated four presentations that stayed in the province with the participation of Radio Manatí, Radio Libertad and Radio Victoria. The topics are of great value: how to communicate in times of crisis, good practices from the psychological point of view on how to reach audiences and also use culture as a way to communicate ”, Yannier Leyva, principal specialist , told Tiempo21 from the Research and Quality Department at Radio Victoria.
Regarding the theoretical section, one of the future purposes is to extend the call to the rest of the country, and bring to the contest the investigative contributions that stand out in the national event to contribute to the development of the medium.
The jury will award a first, second and third prize in varied and informative programming, and the grand Ultrasound Prize in both categories; they will also confer as many mentions as they deem pertinent based on the sample presented.
The Ultrasound Online Radio Festival encourages the exchange of media professionals from all over the country on the trends and challenges that drive their efforts; in addition to looking for alternatives to adapt to current times and transcend audiences through the use of new technologies.
