This athlete from Camaguey, a member of the Union of Young Communists, and one of the main representatives of heEvoluciona campaign in Camagüey, reaffirms his commitment to the founding precepts of the Revolution and the Homeland.
In these days when the 8th Congress of the Communist Party of Cuba is held, Leonel Segura remembers the leader of the Cuban Revolution Fidel Castro.
“For me it is inevitable not to think about him who did so much for young people and was a defender of sport as a people’s right.”

Leonel Segura also pointed out that in the current times of pandemic the athletic movement in Camagüey continues and in training they comply with hygienic-sanitary measures, limiting the difficulties in batting and pitching in order to have a better performance in the next National Ball Series.
