Camagüey, Apr 27 - The branch of the José Martí Cultural Society in Camagüey will celebrate the 130th anniversary of the first publication of the poetry book Versos Sencillos, by the National Hero of Cuba, with the Exhibition Hall of Plastic Arts It is my verse what you see.
In search of a generational confluence, the call is open to artists and art students of the theprovince, who will be able to show their knowledge about the life and work of the most universal of Cubans.
Through specialties such as drawing, painting, ceramics, photography and installation, those interested will present a work that expresses the inspiration of the author due to the reading of one of the simple verses.
"It's my verse what you see" is not competitive in nature and advocates the visualization of students and creators who approach Marti's ideology from art and culture.
Registration will take place at the Casa de la Memoria, headquarters of the Agramontina branch of the José Martí Cultural Society, from April 26 to 28 from nine in the morning to three in the afternoon, where a file will be delivered to include the title of the work, technical characteristics, name and surname of the participant with their identification and location data.
