Cuba reports 1,135 new cases of Covid-19



At the close of June 4, a total of 26 000 225 patients are admitted, 4000 140 are suspects, 16000 122 are under monitoring, and 5 000 963 are active.      

For COVID-19, 23,963 samples were studied, resulting in 1,135 positive samples. The country accumulates 4 million 441 thousand 732 samples made and 147 thousand 831 positives.      

Of the total number of cases (1135): 1040 were contacts of confirmed cases; 30 with a source of infection abroad; 65 without a specified source of infection.    

Of the 1,135 cases diagnosed, 600 were female and 535 males.

41.0% (465) of the 1,135 positive cases were asymptomatic, accumulating a total of 71,998, which represents 48.7% of those confirmed to date.

The 1135 diagnosed cases belong to the age groups: under 20 years old, (203), from 20 to 39 years old, (350), from 40 to 59 years old (379) and over 60 years old, (203).
