Camagüey, Sep 2.- This Friday, September 3, the vaccination of the first group of students in Camagüey will begin, as revealed the day before at the meeting of the Temporary Provincial Work Group to confront COVID-19.
Starting tomorrow, the immunization of twelfth grade students and those in terminal courses of pedagogical schools and of Technical-Professional Education will begin; while from Monday 6 will benefit those between 12 and 18 years of age; and on September 8 the process will begin in those in the 2 to 11-year-old range.
Similarly, it was learned that next Monday the vaccination of people pending in all municipalities will start, but it is recalled that the maximum protection entitlement is reached after 56 days, so it is imperative to continue compliance with health measures oriented.
The meeting was focused on maximizing attention to pregnant women, children and adolescents, a segment that shows an increasing trend in contagion with COVID-19, as well as reinforcing the screening and supervision of those who remain at home.
The first secretaries of the Communist Party of Cuba in the 13 municipalities of Camagüey together with their respective mayors participated in the meeting of the Temporary Provincial Work Group to confront the pandemic to promptly assess the complicated epidemiological situation in the Agramontino territory.
