Camagüey, Sep 6.- In the province of Camagüey, the restructuring of the AzCuba Sugar Business Group began this Monday, which will have seven Agroindustrial Sugar Companies in this territory, in each of the plants, and exceptionally, the Cañera Cándido González Company, in Santa Cruz del Sur.
The constitution began with the Siboney mill, in the municipality of Sibanicú, where Julio Andrés García Pérez, president of AzCuba, stressed that these entities coexist and are integrated with the rest of the economic actors of each locality, and contribute to the result.
They also have the powers granted by the country to the business system, and the capacities and autonomies must be reverted to productive results, with the task in addition to favoring the transformation of the communities, based on their own income, he added.
The Commander of the Rebel Army José Ramón Machado Ventura, with vast experience in this sector, was also present, and in Siboney he stressed the importance of organizing the workforce so that, in time outside the harvest, relocate to other tasks of interest to their territories.
With this process, the sugar sector in Cuba is strengthened, with the creation of 57 companies, and in the case of Camagüey there will be eight, in whose constitution the member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and its first secretary, Ariel Santana Santiesteban, in the province also take place.
