
Camagüey, Feb 5. – Within the context of the recently concluded International Symposium "Challenges in City Management and Governance," the Third Architecture, Design and Urbanism Workshop was announced, sponsored by the City Historian's Office.
Information about the workshop was presented to event attendees by architect Humberto Delgado, who highlighted the nature of the meeting as a space for debate, professional exchange, and the generation of solutions for the contemporary urban environment.
The workshop's focus is on creating a portfolio of professional proposals related to the main theme of monumental and environmental sculpture in heritage areas, promoting new proposals for artistic integration in spaces of high historical and cultural value.
The call is open to participation from all project entities, encouraging a wide representation of professional approaches and criteria. It also includes awards for each working commission and a final grand prize, with the aim of stimulating the quality, innovation, and viability of the submitted proposals.
This initiative is part of the actions promoted by the International Symposium, reinforcing the institutional commitment to the comprehensive management of cities, respect for heritage, and the incorporation of art as a transformative element of public space.
