Camagüey, August 20 - With the increase in pensions in this province, a total of 57,049 retirees and beneficiaries of the general Social Security system and special regimes will benefit.
This payment will be made in advance during the current month of August, starting in accordance with the approved schedule. It is estimated that 78,384,728 pesos will be allocated monthly for this purpose.
Yusleidys Martínez de Santelices, head of the Social Security Department under the Provincial Directorate of the Ministry of Labor, emphasized that this is a partial increase for which the province has prepared through the banking system and postal units to ensure that payments are made smoothly.
Additionally, she stated that the disbursement of the increased amount will be made in full and not in installments, allowing retirees to enjoy their pensions.
