Washington, Jul 24.-The Council of the U.S. city of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, urgedtheCongresstoday to passlaws in order to repealtheeconomic, commercial and financialblockadeimposedon Cuba for more than 55 years.
Thesuggestioniscontained in a proclamation approvedunanimouslybythemembers of thatentity, whoalsorequestedtheend of therestrictionsimposedonthe U.S. citizens to travelfreely to theCaribbean country.

He also urges thePresident to allowagainthe normal functioning, withtherequiredemployees, in thediplomaticheadquarters of bothcapitals.
