Italian Partisan Association demands an end to theblockade against Cuba

Rome, Apr 20 (Prensa Latina) The president of theNationalAssociation of Italian Partisans( Anpi ), Carla Nespolo , demanded today the immediate cessation of the US blockade against Cuba.

In a statement, Nespolo also expressed his "sincere thanks to Cuban doctors and his country, "for coming to theaid of Italy to combat Covid-19.

The statement stated that "in Cuba there is a universal and free health system among themost advanced in the world, despite an embargo started in 1962" and add sthat" the doctors of the Cuban brigade in our hospitals are ambassadors of solidarity and humanity.
