Today marks seven years since Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz entered immortality, but with the certainty that he is still with us in each of the actions undertaken to give continuity to the Moncada Program, tempered with the present.

In the universal context, the election of the island stands out, for the sixth time, to join the Human Rights Council, with the highest number of votes in the region, a sample of the prestige achieved by the country in the work of the UN, with the basis of its actions in the unrestricted attachment of the Cuban Government to the well-being of the people
Fidel's seal is also present in the fact that Cuba is part of the Executive Council of the United Nations for Education, Science and Culture (UNESCO), in the period from 2023 to 2027, as a result of the votes at the forty-second General Conference of the organization, in Paris.
