Camagüey, April 5.- In the context of the celebrations for the 63rd and 62nd anniversaries of the José Martí Pioneers Organization and the Union of Young Communists, respectively, this Thursday in Camagüey he received the status of Master of Radio Broadcasters, granted by Cuban Radio, Francisco Ramón Canela Ciurana, a virtuous man capable of skillfully functioning in the magical world of ether.

During the celebration of said anniversaries with young workers from the Provincial Radio Directorate, Canela, as he is known in the union, said that he always loved the radio medium and even today he maintains it as his company and faithful friend.

He confessed that he came to that field almost by chance and since he entered, his effort and dedication distinguished him from others by managing to work in various specialties such as sound production, musicalization, voice-over, technical specialist, and even ventured into journalism.

Today he has gray hair and the passing of the years weighs on his face, however you can perceive that jovial glow of someone who is in his 20s when he talks about his eternal girlfriend, Radio, the one who unquestionably shares his heart with his life partner.

He knows he still has the strength to continue providing knowledge based on his experience with intact humility, because as he says about himself after so many years, he still does not know everything that radio entails.

With perceptible emotion he shared what it meant for him to professionally assume the occasions when Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz visited the Camagüey territory, a challenge that he overcame with responsibility and high commitment, even when one of those visits coincided with his first time working abroad. study, which - according to his classmates - he did with such ease as if he were a consecrated radio broadcaster at that time.

He also urged young people to continue studying, to seek all possible information, to read and learn from their teachers, and to navigate the radio environment with humanism, humility and a tireless desire to do, because without will no work is possible.

Finally, he spoke about the importance of teamwork for radio production, which is nourished by different specialties that must converge harmoniously. “That's where the magic is,” he said.

The pages of the Camagüey radio treasure names of men and women who once arrived and fell madly in love, they made it their livelihood and way of life first, and then a kind of vice and necessity later, since it is a complete space where They draw images through sound.
