It's not going to rain on the República pedestrian street, because seasoned professionals have reiterated what happens daily there without the minimum of state control to avoid repeated violations of traffic, of vehicles of all types that circulate in any direction, exposing the safety of unsuspecting passersby.
Contrary to journalistic warnings, someone opened the way for indiscipline and removed the vehicular closure at the pharmacy and República, and now motorbikes, tricycles, motorcycles; bicycles... are running around in complete disarray.
However, regarding the cleaning of the city, one of the three most populated in the country, it must be said that its main city roads are swept every day: what happens is that this garbage, collected in excellent mobile equipment, then they nourish the hundreds of landfills that, even in side streets, house mice, insects and similar vectors that are very harmful to human health.
These smelly images occur in the historic center of Camagüey and have been denounced by the population itself who, not infrequently, incurs various social indiscipline such as throwing plastic bags and solid waste that clog pipes wherever they want and especially outside the containers and drains... and what about some street sweepers who throw dirt and other debris into the sewer manholes and hydrants?
The city of Camagüey has always been characterized as one of the most beautiful and clean in the country. It is the task not only of the community workers to rescue these privileges, first of all to make the old saying a reality that: “The city is not cleaner.”That cleans the most but the one that makes the least dirt." Together we can, let's start with government control in each constituency, neighborhood, popular council... municipality and put the masses, our voters and successors, young people, adolescents and children, in the front row of the action together with the Cuban Worker’s Central (CTC) in the work centers located in each place, such as warehouses and other commercial units.
If there is greater administrative and governmental control, even the deficit fuel to move large waste collectors piled up in sight of everyone, which now takes another destination and can be better reached to clean up. We cannot tire of denouncing and doing to return to possible realities from other times, so that our beautiful city does not become sick in the midst of stinking garbage dumps that seek to suffocate it from the outside and within.
