Havana, Oct 31.- Ricardo Fraccari, president of the World Baseball-Softball Confederation (WBSC), today congratulated Cuba for its successes in this sport during the year 2024.
In a letter addressed to Juan Reinaldo Pérez Pardo, president of the Cuban Baseball-Softball Federation (FCBS), Fraccari expressed that the end of the year is approaching and the world cups have closed, only the Premier 12 Tournament with headquarters remains to be played in Mexico, Taiwan and Japan.
I wanted to write these lines to celebrate the events and all the work that national federations do with their teams to shine our sport, Fraccari explained in his letter.
The WBSC president praised the Greater Antilles for the gold medals in the International Blind Baseball Cup (United Kingdom) and the Baseball5 World Cup (Hong Kong).
I am incredibly proud of our movement and how it has thrived after the challenges of the pandemic. I wish them all the best and hope they continue on the path of great sporting successes, concluded Fraccari. (Text and photo: JIT)
