Moscow, September 19. - Nicolás Maduro sent a clear message to the West, especially to the imperialist countries that threaten Venezuela, such as the United States, telling them that as a patriot and Bolivarian, he is priceless and is not for sale to anyone.
"Maduro has no price, Maduro is not for sale to anyone, the people of Venezuela have no price, they are not for sale to anyone," said the Venezuelan leader referring to the Donald Trump Administration during a government event in La Guaira state.
The president warned that he is a sovereign dignitary who owes no debts to his political adversaries. "Imperialism knows very well that we have no price, that I owe them nothing, I owe nothing to imperialism nor to the sellout oligarchy, I owe them nothing," he emphasized.
Maduro stressed that this is why the world knows he is an independent and pro-independence president. "I owe nothing to anyone, the only one I owe anything to is the people of Venezuela; I owe my life to the people of Venezuela," he added.
The Venezuelan leader’s words come amid a dangerous escalation of tensions in Latin America and the Caribbean promoted by the U.S., which, with its troop deployment through Southern Command, keeps the region threatened with warlike conditions and an atmosphere of uncertainty. (Text and photo: RT)
