Camagüey, Jun 28.- The thought of the most universal of Cubans summons the six delegates from Camagüey who will be flag-bearers this Wednesday to participate in the 47th edition of the Youth Seminar on Martí Studies with an appointment in Havana.

Dania Díaz Socarrás, leader of the delegation and provincial president of the Martí Youth Movement, highlighted that the virtual sessions begin this Thursday, while the face-to-face meetings will begin on June 29 and will last until July 2 with literary presentations and research to promote the work of the National Hero.

The Journalism student of the University of Camagüey (UC), Laura Marian Bacallao Padrón, participates for the third time in these meetings. This time with the work "José Martí en la visualidad joven", a work on the approach of Gabriel Dávalos through his Matria project, and the link between the ideas of the National Hero and the new generations.

Another of the delegates to the Youth Seminar is Alejandro Centeno Rodríguez, from the Noel Fernández Pérez junior high school who is 13 years old, and who approaches the work of Fina García Marruz, passionate about Martí's thought.

The Apostle's legacy is also defended by Mauro Castelló Caballero, a fifth grade student at the Conrado Benítez elementary school, who explains the validity of Marti's ideology in Fidel and how it reached its supreme expression in the Cuban Revolution.

Yoselin Patricia Ramos Padrón, a sixth-grade pioneer at the Revolución de Octubre school, proposes the story "Virtues travel through time", inspired by the teachings bequeathed to María Mantilla in the letters of the hero of Dos Ríos, whose values ??bequeathed to her from small.

From the newspaper Adelante, the journalist Jorge Enrique Jerez Belisario proposes a work on the speech of José Martí, advocating to avoid the repetition of colonizing stereotypes, based on the very thought of the Apostle of independence.

Diosnhaider Rodríguez Allen, a UC Tourism student, will also participate with his work Presencia, a poetic prose in which he proposes in a literary way an approach to the ideology of the most universal of Cubans.

The Martí Youth Movement works to promote research and artistic creation on the thought of the National Hero, which is the essential objective of the 47th edition of the Martí Studies Youth Seminar with appointment in Havana. (Text and photos: Gladys Daylin Morera Lamb/ Agramonte Radio Network)
