Buenos Aires, Sept. 13 — Argentinians and Cubans will pay tribute today to guerrilla fighter Ernesto Che Guevara (1928-1967) during a ceremony in the locality of Caraguatay, belonging to the northern province of Misiones.
The tribute is part of the activities organized within the framework of the Solidarity Days with the island, called as part of the actions to strengthen historical, cultural and friendship ties.
Furthermore, it takes place on the 50th anniversary of the reestablishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries and one month after the 56th anniversary of the death of Guevara, a symbol of struggle and ties between both peoples.
