The protagonists remembered hearing the noise, or spotting the light of the helicopter that unexpectedly landed on a plain in the village of Soplillar.

The photograph reflects Fidel, who has a pleasant dialogue with the coalmen of the area at that memorable dinner, on December 24, 1959. It was the first time in Cuba's history that a prime minister has sat at the table with the poor.

Photos of the statesman tasting Creole food with members of the Bla Roca Contingent and pioneers, among other people, are also exhibited.

The images are included in the book project A la mesa with Fidel de Rodríguez Pino. It also recreates these beautiful experiences of Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro with personalities, including religious and writer Frei Betto, former footballer Diego Armando Maradona, former Venezuelan president and President Hugo Chávez and Nicolás Maduro, respectively, as well as with Cristina Fernández (Argentina) and Rafael Vicente Correa Delgado (Ecuador).
