Havana, February 5.- The XXXI Cuba-Mexico Statistics Meeting will meet from February 26 to March 1st at the Institute of Cybernetics, Mathematics and Physics (ICIMAF in Spanish), his group announced in this capital and invited the scientific community to participate.
The event's deliberations represent a unique opportunity for academics, researchers and industry professionals to share experiments, experiences and new perspectives in this vital discipline, its organizers say.
According to the program, to which the Cuban News Agency had access, one of its basic objectives is to evaluate trends in the discipline, as well as innovative approaches in its teaching and practice, and to stimulate collaboration and dialogue among its participants.
It announced to the interested scientific community that the deadline for summaries of presentations, concise and not exceeding 500 words, will be next Monday, February 19, and the contact can be found at the email addressgrupoest@icimaf.cu
The founding date of ICIMAF dates back to 1964 in its capacity as a leader in the country in the development of basic and applied research in Computing, Mathematics and Physics.
It belongs to the Agency for Nuclear Energy and Advanced Technologies (AENTA in Spanish), one of the three of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment. The others are those of Environment and Social and Humanistic Sciences.
In 2023, its international collaboration continued to increase, with a greater number of actions, including 18 missions to Spain, France, the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Germany, Italy, Costa Rica and Paraguay.
