Mexico condemns Israel’s attacks against aid workers in Palestine

Mexico City, April 5.-Mexico condemned the attacks carried out in recent days against international aid workers in the Gaza Strip and the Iranian consulate in Syria.

"These acts are contrary to the norms of international law and coexistence between nations," stated the government through its Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Israeli forces have killed almost 200 aid workers in Gaza who are providing aid in the midst of the health crisis and famine generated by the genocide against the Palestinian enclave.

For this reason, the attack against the NGO World Central Kitchen, in which three Britons, an Australian woman, a Pole and a Canadian-American died, is considered not to be an isolated case and adds to the restrictions on humanitarian aid.

This Monday, the Chief of Staff, Herzi Halevi, assured that it was a "serious error" that occurred "after a mistaken identification (...) in very complex conditions", statements that have generated rejection from much of the world. .

Added to this is the recent Israeli attack against the Iranian consulate building in Damascus, Syria, which completely destroyed a building and affected everyone inside, causing deaths and injuries.

According to several sources, at least 11 people died in the attack.

After more than 180 days of genocide in Gaza, the Palestinian death toll increased to 33,037 and another 75,668 were injured, most of them women, children and the elderly. (Text and photo: PL)
