Havana, May 9.- The Havana seat of the José Martí Cultural Society will host today in the Culture and Nation space, the mystery of Cuba, the conference Cinema and its prominence in Cuban culture, 65 years after Icaic.
Starting at 10:00, local time, the director of Heritage of the Cuban Institute of Cinematographic Art and Industry (ICAIC), Francisco Cordero, and the advisor of that institution, Benigno Iglesias, will speak on the role of a demonstration with high importance in the country.
At this meeting, there will also be an analysis of the book Pedagogical Ideas of José Martí, by Maritza Collado, researcher at the Center for Martí Studies.
Culture and Nation. The mystery of Cuba is the space that the José Martí Cultural Society dedicates each month to the presentation of historical, literary and artistic themes, with the participation of personalities from the various spheres of the country. (Text and photo: PL)
