Ramallah, Oct 30 - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Palestine today condemned the fierce Israeli campaign of incitement against United Nations bodies, agencies and officials.
This attack is part of a systematic Israeli policy applied for more than 76 years, whose objective is to undermine the work of the International Organization and delegitimize its role, the Foreign Ministry said in a statement released by the official Palestinian news agency Wafa.
It denounced Tel Aviv's attempt to eliminate the Palestinian presence through the forced displacement of the Palestinian people and the intensification of its racist colonial policies.
This ongoing campaign also seeks to distract attention from ongoing war crimes and genocide, the Ministry indicated.
It denounced Israel's efforts to prevent United Nations experts from documenting and exposing violations in the occupied Palestinian territories.
The statement urged all UN member states to fulfill their commitments to the United Nations and human rights, and clarified that some of the countries that supported this campaign have become partners in Israeli genocide and violations.
Despite the fierce Israeli hostile campaign, the State of Palestine confirms continued cooperation with the Special Rapporteur on Human Rights in the occupied Palestinian territories, Francesca Albanese, especially in the context of the presentation of her next report to the UN General Assembly; the Palestinian Foreign Ministry concluded its statement.
In addition to declaring the UN Secretary General persona non grata, the Israeli authorities described the Palestinian Refugee Agency (UNRWA) as terrorist and banned its work in the Palestinian territories. (Text and photo: PL)
