Havana, Dec. 28. - Starting January 1, 2025, Cuban citizens who apply for a visa to China at the Havana embassy will be exempt from paying fees, official sources announced.
This was announced by the Chinese ambassador, Hua Xin, in a congratulatory message to the Caribbean nation for the new year and the 66th anniversary of the triumph of the Cuban Revolution.
Hua stressed that, since his arrival on the island, he has appreciated the hospitality, kindness, diligence and patriotism of the Cuban people.
I believe that Cuba will have a brighter future, he stressed in his message published on his official account on the social network X.
He stressed that this year the island and the Asian giant held high-level meetings and fruitful cooperation.
Cuba joined our great BRICS family as a partner country, and several important projects between both countries have made significant progress, he noted.
