Caracas, Feb 6th - The ALBA-TCP reported here to have entered a new phase of maximum coordination of priorities and joint actions in all dimensions, by disclosing today the results and agreements of the recently completed XII Extraordinary Summit.

The note stated that they agreed to "advance, with vigor and longing," to create and found the Center for Science and Technology in Artificial Intelligence and Free Technologies based in Venezuela.
This center aims to develop its own, ethical and independent capacities in these areas of technological development, and to take into account the interscientific and intercultural knowledge applied to societies.
Also expand the AgroAlba project to all member countries of the Alliance and organize the International Fair 2025, as an innovative and strategic initiative to ensure the food security and sovereignty of our peoples in a self-sustaining and self-sustaining way.
In this sense, it is proposed to combine techniques of traditional agriculture, agroecological regenerative, in accordance with the protection of Mother Earth and the health of the peoples.
Another result has to do with the launch of the ALBA Blue project, as a joint fisheries policy for food security, establishing a joint fishing fleet and a coordinated strategy in this area with immense potential for our countries.
The Latin American and Caribbean integration bloc submitted to the member countries for consideration to sign the Alliance's Framework Transport Agreement and to acquire the ALBA cargo fleet, in order to make the complementary economic and commercial projects feasible between its States.
It also made available the credit system of the Banco del Alba to support entrepreneurial migrants in their processes of reintegration into the productive forces in their countries of origin.
In addition to agreeing on special meetings of ministers from the substantive areas of the 2030 Strategic Agenda of ALBA-TCP, such as agriculture, fisheries, transport, science and technology, energy, trade and economy, to be held in the first quarter of 2025.
The XII Extraordinary Summit proposed to schedule a special meeting of the Political Council to discuss issues related to regional and multilateral mechanisms and agencies and to ratify our commitment to the Latin American and Caribbean Proclamation as a Zone of Peace.
