
Havana, February 12. - The Panel: Challenges of educational systems in the XXI century. From commitment to action. Goals 2030, which will be coordinated by Naima Ariatne Trujillo Barreto, Minister of Education of Cuba, will be part of the third day of the XIX International Congress Pedagogy 2025.
The event, which takes place at the Havana Convention Center, will have as a special activity the General Assembly of the Association of Educators of Latin America and the Caribbean (AELAC).
In addition, those present will be able to enjoy the screening of the documentary: The head thinks where the feet step: Frei Betto and Popular Education. Brazil., directed by Evanize Sydow, and with the objective of offering a look at an essential pillar of Betto's work, popular education, and especially its application of Paulo Freire's methodology.
With 32 invited countries, the prestigious educational event, which takes place every two years, defends in each of its panels, symposiums, conferences and other activities, the central theme: “Education, science and innovation for sustainable human development.” (Text and photo: ACN)
