Love and Friendship: bonds that illuminate our days (Photoes)

Camaguey, Feb 14^th. - Every February 14^th million people around the world celebrate the Day of Love and Friendship, internationally known as Valentine's Day, a date that originated in ancient Rome, until it became a festivity in the 20th century. The celebration has evolved to encompass various forms of affective expression.

The couples take the opportunity to demonstrate their love through significant gestures and gifts ranging from flowers and chocolates, to romantic jewelry and dinners; while friends and family also celebrate friendship with small details.

For many it is an opportunity to reflect on meaningful relationships in their lives, choose to write letters or poems, reviving the tradition of expressing feelings through the written word.

Undoubtedly, the Day of Love and Friendship remains a special moment to connect with those we love most, it is an occasion where we express the affection and care towards those we love, whether in romantic relationships or friendship, a simple loving message reminds us of the importance of cultivating relationships and keeping alive that universal feeling that is love.
