Cuba accuses the United States and Israel of unbalancing the Middle East.

Havana, March 28th - Cuban Foreign Affairs Minister Bruno Rodríguez today accused the governments of the United States and Israel of perpetrating actions to destabilize the Middle East.

"The United States and Israel are destabilizing the Middle East, under the doctrine of imposing peace through force," the Cuban Foreign Minister stated on the social network X

"While the former bombs Yemen, killing hundreds of civilians, the latter attacks Syria, endangering the sovereignty and territorial integrity of that Arab nation," he added.

According to news reports, a new US airstrike on the Yemeni city of Sana'a on Friday left seven civilians injured.

Houthi Health Ministry spokesman Anis Al Asbahi said the latest bombing hit the districts of At Tahrir and Bani Hushaish.

The Houthis have already reported 21 attacks carried out by the United States the day before against Sana'a, as well as two other regions, as part of the recent escalation against rebel targets. Separately, Israeli army fighter jets recently bombed two air bases located in the Syrian desert region of Al-Badieh, in central Syria.

At least six civilians were also killed by intense Israeli bombardment of the village of Koya, located in the Yarmouk Basin region in the southwest of Syria, about 100 kilometers south of the capital, Damascus.

In recent weeks, there has been a significant Israeli escalation in southern Syria, with hundreds of attacks on various sites, while Tel Aviv troops occupied the buffer zone and several strategic sites, including the summit of Mount Hermon. (Text and photo: PL)
