Cuba remembers 22nd anniversary of Mission Barrio Adentro in Venezuela


Havana, April 16.- Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez celebrated the arrival today of the 22nd anniversary of the beginning in Venezuela of the Barrio Adentro Mission that ensured quality medical care with the participation of thousands of collaborators from Cuba.

The historic and revolutionary initiative of the South American nation's president, Hugo Chávez, brought free, quality medical care to all communities in that country, with the participation of more than 165,000 Cuban collaborators, the Cuban Foreign Minister wrote in X.
