Camagüey, May 30th. - A repudiable criminal act against a law enforcement officer in the boulevard of Camagüey occurred on Thursday, May 29, when a criminal caused him serious life-threatening injuries, attacking her in the back with a knife.
The individual, who was arrested in a short time, walked around the place ingesting alcoholic beverages, and assaulted her with brazenness.
Despite the wounds received, the police were defending themselves at all times, until the perpetrator left the site in a threatening manner with the knife.
The young pólice officer receives medical assistance for her recovery.
The event received immediate repudiation and condemnation from the population, which contributed to its rapid capture. The detainee was taken to the investigating body and will receive the full weight of revolutionary justice.
