Camagüey, May 31st. - This Saturday will pass the 20th ordinary session of the Assembly of People's Power in the Agramontine capital, corresponding to the current term of office.
The meeting, which will have as its stage the theater of the University of Medical Sciences of Camaguey, Order Carlos J. Finlay includes the discussion of a group of issues of economic and social interest.
The agenda provides for analysis of a report on compliance with the action plan to implement Law 148 on Food Sovereignty and Food and Nutritional Security and the accountability of the popular councils Garrido-Caridad and Lenin-Albaisa.
Delegates to the highest local government body will evaluate the behaviour of the Major Adult Programme as a social policy that guarantees the protection of individuals and families, the progress of the banking process and the updating of the local development strategy.
