Throughout the province of Camagüey, thousands of schoolchildren left their Moncadista status behind to take a step forward in their journey within the José Martí Pioneers Organization (OPJM).
The ceremony of presenting the red scarves, an act full of symbolism and pride, became an unforgettable moment for the children, who with enthusiasm and commitment began to wear their new badge. This symbol identifies them as active members of an organization that promotes patriotic values ??and solidarity.
The tradition, which annually honors the birth of two great Cuban heroes, Ernesto Guevara de la Serna and Antonio Maceo Grajales, has become one of the most emotional moments of the school calendar.
From now on, they will be able to participate in various activities and events, such as the Pioneer Elections, as well as participate in camps, excursions, and historical tours. These initiatives are greatly appreciated by our children and provide them with enriching experiences.
Thus, on a meaningful day, Camagüey's schoolchildren reaffirmed their commitment to the values represented by the nation's heroes. The ceremony of changing the badge, steeped in history and emotion, remains a living symbol of the continuity of a legacy that new generations build to continue advancing with pride and determination toward a better future.
