Havana, July 2. - Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, member of the Party's Political Bureau and Minister of Foreign Affairs, thanked ALBA-TCP and its member states for their firm condemnation of the new U.S. Presidential Memorandum, which tightens the blockade against Cuba.
Through his account in X, the chancellor shared the statement from the regional body that describes these measures as an aggression aimed at "severely hitting all sectors of Cuban society".
"We thank @ALBATCP and its member states for condemning the new measures of aggression and intensification of the blockade against the people of #Cuba, approved by the US government."

The ALBA-TCP document denounces that the provisions signed by President Donald Trump will severely affect tourism, healthcare, migration processes, as well as cultural, academic, and scientific exchanges, in addition to limiting access to technologies.
The regional bloc affirmed that Washington's true objective is to "take over Cuba and control its destiny," while categorically rejecting this new escalation of the hostile policy against the island.
In another message on social media, Rodríguez Parrilla expressed his particular gratitude to the government and people of Venezuela for their support, expressing his conviction that "we can count on Venezuelan solidarity and broad international support."
These statements come after the signing yesterday of a Presidential Memorandum by Trump, which cancels the flexibilization measures adopted during the administration of his predecessor Joe Biden and resumes the maximum pressure line against Cuba, characteristic of his first mandate.
