Havana, August 6.- Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel congratulated the people and government of Bolivia on today's 200th anniversary of the South American nation's Declaration of Independence.
The head of State sent a warm and strong hug to the government and people of #Bolivia through the social network X on the 200th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence of that sister nation of Our America.
Our full support to the Plurinational State in the defense of its sovereignty, he added.
According to historical records, on August 6, 1825, Bolivia emancipated itself from the Spanish crown and declared itself a sovereign and independent state of all nations, both of the old and the new world. (Text and photo: PL)
