Operation Walk returns to Cuba

Havana, Nov 4 - Approximately 70 people will benefit from the return of Operation Walk to Cuba, an international humanitarian organization that provides free surgeries to patients with joint conditions.

From October 31 to November 5, the Fructuoso Rodríguez Orthopedic Teaching Hospital in Havana is hosting a team of international specialists who are performing live orthopedic surgeries and sharing knowledge through master lectures.

Operation Walk is a medical-humanitarian volunteer organization that offers the possibility of regaining mobility through life-changing joint replacement surgeries, at no cost to those in need in the United States and around the world.

Over the past 29 years, the medical project has performed more than 500 joint replacements in Cuba. (Text and photo: Radio Reloj)
